From now on, every packaging unit needs a declaration of conformity and technical documentation. If you can’t evidence substance requirements and supplier data, you can no longer place goods on the market.

Next stage

Packaging must carry harmonised labelling, including material composition and machine-readable information for consumers and recyclers.

Mid-term
2030

Packaging must be demonstrably recyclable, contain minimum recycled content, and must not exceed defined empty-space ratios.
